Welcome to PROJECT STIGMA, the Media Alliance and Advocacy Organization Combating the Stereotypes of Mental Illness. PROJECT STIGMA is a non-for profit based organization designed to abolish the bias against mental illness. - Using the Media via Public Service Announcements, documentaries, ad campaigns, television programming and every other format. PROJECT STIGMA will direct these resources to stamp out the stigma's against mental illness.
- Not only is our goal to capitalize on the visual mass media but print plays a large part in our efforts as well. Getting the consumers involved, PROJECT STIGMA plans to start the first online newsletter written entirely by the consumers, for the consumers. - We are an Advocacy organization and we thrive on being unique. We focus our attention on consumer needs; be it health care concerns or simply what the consumer experiences and feels in his or her everyday life.
